1 )Edo Castle Reconstruction and Burning Up
The East Gyoen of the Imperial Palace (Edo Castle, Emperors Palace after the Meiji Era) near Tokyo Station is open to the public for free and attracts many tourists. To the north of Gyoen, there is the Tenshudai of Edo Castle Tenshu, which was built in the 17th century and was later rebuilt during the fire. Edo Castle was a magnificent castle in Japan, built in 1603 by Tokugawa Ieyasu who became a general and reigns the world, and was rebuilt by the three generals. However, it was not rebuilt after that, it was spread by a fire whirlwind that exceeded a weir due to the "big fire of Tenmei " that occurred in January 1857. The app reproduces the brilliant guardian of the pre-fire on a vacant tower and fires it even further.
2 )Past and future of Nihonbashi
Ieyasu opened the Edo Shogunate, and the Nihonbashi was developed as the starting point of the 4 highways towards the whole country. It flourished as the center of distribution and business in Edo. In 1911, the current stone bridge was built from wooden. The Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway was hit by Nihonbashigawa at the Tokyo Olympics (1964), but it will be removed from around 2025. The app looks back on the history of the 400 years of Nihonbashi while looking at the remaining paintings, etc., while looking at the future Nihonbashi when the blue sky from which the expressway was removed has returned. 3) Enjoy Daimyo play with VR in Koishikawa Korakuen
It is a masterpiece of Daimyo Garden renovated by Mito Keisei and Tokugawa Kosuke. Mings exile scholar and spring water were also added to the design, and it was used as a courtesy and cognition garden for the Shogunate, Duke and Daimyo. Once, there was a "Nagabashi" on the Oizumi water (pond) and there was a Noh stage in the center of the bridge. In the pond, the daimyos would enjoy playing a kite. The situation is reproduced in spring and autumn VR.
4) View Le Corbusiers Ueno Plan at the Western Art Museum (World Heritage Site)
The National Museum of Western Art, designed by Le Corbusier in 20th century, modern architecture (Modernism) and created by Japanese disciple. Relive the experience with VR and AR from the materials that left the unknown cultural area development concept and museum concept.
